History of Belelvue and Sport hotels goes back to the sixties of the 20th century. Bellevue Hotel was open in 1965 and Sport Hotel in 1962.
At the time of its early years Hotel Bellevue was one of the flagships of the hospitality industry not only in the High Tatras region but in whole Czechoslovakia. It was the first hotel in the country with its own indoor swimming pool.
It was Hotel Bellevue which was used as the set for the film "Medena veza", enormously popular in former Czechoslovakia. It was not only thanks to the cult character of this film that our hotel has been visited by famous actors, singers, composers, painters and artists.
